The Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey anime is based on a manga written and illustrated by Kenta Ishizaka. It began serialization in March 2019 in the seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh. It currently has 11 volumes in circulation.
The manga follows the story of Chika Suzugamori, an aspiring manga artist, who constantly faces new rejections with each submission of her drafts. Frustrated and on the brink of giving up, she has a sudden epiphany: embarking on an adventurous journey that will also heal her mentally. Thus begins her quest to create the ultimate travel comic, based on her experiences. (Anime Corner synopsis)
