The upcoming Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise anime movie revealed a main visual and trailer on Sunday. A screening event will also be held on September 28, 2025, at Shinjuku Wald 9. The movie will have a theatrical premiere on October 24 in Japan.
Studio MAPPA is animating the movie with Takafumi Ishida and Takeru Sato as directors. Shigeru Murakoshi is writing the screenplay, Fumihide Sai, Jinshichi Yamaguchi, and Kasumi Fukagawa are designing the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi is composing the music. The first trailer of the movie was revealed back in April 2025.
The first season of the Zombieland Saga anime aired from October to December 2018, while the second season was titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge, aired from April to June 2021. Studio Mappa handled the animation for both seasons.
The series also got two manga adaptations, with the first one released on Cygames’ Cycomi website from October 2018 to June 2021 and was based on the main story from the anime. Meanwhile a spinoff series which focused on Tae’s previous life, titled Zombie Land Saga Sidestory: The First Zombie, ran in the Ultra Jump magazine from May 2021 to November 2022.
