The Elusive Samurai released Episode 11 on Saturday, and it was followed by a character trailer for Fubuki, another one of Tokiyuki’s loyal retainers. Kikunosuke Toya voices the character in the anime, and you can check out some of his highlights in the trailer below.
Before Fubuki, others characters to receive trailers of their own were also Tokiyuki’s retainers. They include: Shizuku, Kojiro, Ayako, and Genba. Studio CloverWorks animating, with Yuta Yamazaki as the director. The main voice cast consists of:

- Yuichi Nakamura as Yorishige Suwa
- Hinaki Yano as Shizuku
- Mari Hino as Kojiro
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Ayako
- Aoi Yuki as Genba Kazama

Yusei Matsui, also known as the creator of The Assassination Classroom, Yusei Matsui writes and draws the The Elusive Samurai manga, which is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump. It began in 2021, and Viz Media licensed the series in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The story’s protagonist is Tokiyuki Hojo, whose family is betrayed by the charismatic and seemingly obsessed Takauji Ashikaga. He meets an eccentric clairvoyant, Yorishige Suwa, who uses his mysterious godly powers to help him gather loyal retainers and try to claim his revenge.
