The 365 Days to the Wedding anime revealed a new trailer and voice cast, as well as an October 2024 premiere date. The anime was announced back in March at Anime Japan. Studio Ashi Productions is animating, with Hiroshi Ikehata (FLCL Progressive) as the director and Shuji Maruyama as the character designer.
The main voice cast duo duo includes Kentaro Kumagai as Takuya and Saori Hayami as Rika Honjoji. The new cast additions include:
- Ami Koshimizu as Asako Kurokawa
- Fukushi Ochiai as Hiromi Gonda
- Kana Asumi as Natsumi Komiya
- Haruki Ishiya as Keisuke Itsuki
- Kentaro Tone as Susumu Shinshi
- Jouji Nakata as Joji-san (George-san)
365 Days to the Wedding is a romcom manga series written and illustrated by Tamiki Wakaki. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine from March 2020 to June 2023 and has 11 volumes. It inspired a live-action drama series that aired in October 2022. Sevens Seas Entertainment is licensing and publishing the manga in English, describing the story:
The J.T.C. travel agency is looking for someone to manage its brand-new branch in Irkutsk. But for employees Oohara Takuya and Honjouji Rika, they’d rather just stay home in Tokyo! Thankfully, they’ve discovered a way out—their manager has narrowed down the recruits to bachelors, so what if they just…got married? The problem is they barely know each other at all!
