The preview images and staff for Edens Zero Season 2 episode 17 (ep. 42 overall) have been revealed. The episode titled “The Battle of Foresta” will officially release on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime outside of Japan with English subtitles.

Studio J.C. Staff returned to animate Edens Zero Season 2. After two years of waiting, our favorite space fantasy crew is back! The first cour of this season covered the Belial Gore arc. Now that we’re into the Aoi Cosmos saga this episode will begin the Foresta arc after the previous Red Cave arc came to an end last week! Leave your power of friendship notions behind because this saga is anything but sunshine and rainbows. Staff members will be revealed with each new episode this season. The series has yet to crack a spot in the Top 10 for our weekly polls, so make sure to vote for Edens Zero Season 2.
Edens Zero is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. The manga began serialization in June 2018 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and has released a total of 26 volumes. Ishihira is the chief director for Edens Zero Season 2 with Toshinori Watanabe credited as a director. Hirota is handling the series composition with Yurika Sako in charge of the character designs. Yoshihisa Hirano is composing the soundtrack.
