The Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 anime series has revealed the first visual and trailer, along with a October 2024 premiere date. The announcement came at a special program attended by the main cast. TMS Entertainment will again be animating, along with Studio 6. Watch the teaser trailer:

TMS Entertainment animated the first season of the anime adaptation, which ran for 12 episodes in Summer 2021. The main staff included Osamu Yamasaki as the director and in charge of the series composition, Kyoko Yufu as the character designer and also chief animation director, and Yasuyuki Yamazaki in charge of the music. The voice cast for the anime:

Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuri Kitayama with illustrations by RIV. It was serialized on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from February 2014 to October 2020, while Hobby Japan started publishing the series under its HJ Bunko imprint in October 2015.
A manga adaptation with art by tenkla was serialized online on Hobby Japan’s Comic Fire website from October 2016 to February 2017, but it was canceled because of the artist’s poor health. Another manga adaptation with art by Futago Minaduki has been serialized on the same website since July 2017. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and the second manga in English.
Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime, describing the story:
His past life and current life are intersecting–a boy with memories of two lives faces his destiny! After his mother was killed at an early age, the orphaned Rio fought his hardest to survive in the slums. One day, he awakens to the memories of Haruto Amakwa, who died in an accident while dreaming of being reunited with his childhood friend, and Rio realizing he has reincarnated in a world of swords and sorcery.
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 was announced in November 2021.
