Dragon Ball DAIMA revealed the Episode 12 preview following its broadcast in Japan, teasing Vegeta turning into Super Saiyan 3 in his fight against the strong Tamagami. The synopsis for the episode titled “True Strength” is described:
Vegeta engages in an evenly matched battle with Tamagami but struggles when the fight shifts to an unfamiliar underwater setting! Cornered and sinking to the bottom, Vegeta… finally unleashes his hidden strength!
Vegeta had previously skipped Super Saiyan 3 in the main Dragon Ball canon, with only Goku and Gotenks having achieved it. Akira Toriyama was in charge for the Dragon Ball DAIMA anime’s story.

Dragon Ball DAIMA premiered on October 11. It is directed by Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki, with series composition and scenario by Yuko Kakihara and animation character design by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru. The opening theme song is “Jaka Jaan” by Zedd feat. C&K, while the ending is is “NAKAMA” by ZEDD feat. AI. You can also check out both of those below.

The highly anticipated DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO game was also released on October 11, with a DAIMA version of Goku available as a playable character. The game sold over 3 million copies within the first 24 hours and is highly praised by fans.
