About Maid Sama
Hiro Fujiwara began the Maid Sama (Kaicho wa Meido-sama!) manga in December 2005. It was serialized in the LaLa shojo manga magazine until September 2013, getting a total of 18 volumes. A side story of 7 chapters was later serialized in LaLa DX from November 2013 to April 2018, titled Kaicho wa Maid-sama!: Marriage.
The series got an anime adaptation by studio J.C. Staff, which ran for 26 episodes from April 2010 to September 2010. The main voice cast duo included Ayumi Fujimura as Misaki Ayuzawa and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Takumi Usui.
Tokyopop originally licensed the manga as Maid-sama!, publishing eight volumes from 2009 to 2011. The series was later re-licensed by VIZ Media, which released all of the volumes through nine 2-in-1 omnibus volumes.
