Solo Leveling Season 2 revealed a new preview trailer for Episode 10, teasing the fight between Jinwoo and Ryuji Goto ahead of the Jeju Island raid. It was teased earlier this week with the second main trailer, showing off the ants and how the hunters will not be ready for their horror.
UPDATE (Mar 8): The full Sung Jinwoo vs Ryuji Goto fight has also been released.
The title of the episode is “We Need a Hero” and it will premiere on Saturday, March 8. The preview shows Cha Hae-in, as well as Sung Jinwoo fighting Ryuji Goto, Japan’s top S-Rank hunter. You can watch the new trailer below.
The synopsis for the episode is described:
Jinwoo intervenes in the friendly match between the DFN and the S-Rank hunters, where he demonstrates undeniable strength in his battle against Liu Zhigang. However, he ultimately decides to decline participation in the Jeju Island Raid in order to stay by his recently awakened mother’s side.
The Fourth Jeju Island Raid begins without Jinwoo, and at first, it seems to be progressing smoothly thanks to the efforts of the top hunters. However…
The anime is based on the Solo Leveling webtoon by Chugong and DUBU from REDICE Studio, which was adapted by h-goon. The story follows the world’s ‘weakest hunter’ Sung Jinwoo, as he gets a way to level up in a world where it is otherwise impossible. Having recently cleared the Demon King’s Castle and cured his mother, Jinwoo still has no idea that he won’t be able to ignore the new Jeju Island raid.
Solo Leveling was previously also voted the most anticipated anime of Winter 2024, and it also won Best New Anime at our Winter 2024 Anime Awards.The second season was then voted as the most anticipated show of Winter 2025 this season. It placed fourth in our latest weekly ranking.
