Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 24: First Grade Finale of Season 1

Jujutsu Kaisen released its final episode 24 today, and it’s already got us hyped for the sequel. A prequel movie adapting volume 0 has already been announced, and that’s coming next Winter. The franchise has blown up, so we’ll likely see a sequel at some point as well. Any way, in today’s episode we got incredible animation as usual, and it was mostly for Nobara and Yuuji. My favorite was probably Nobara’s ruthless side, which we got plenty of today.

Not to go into detail, the two managed to overpower a special grade each today. Not to forget Fushiguro did the same thing last episode. Although we also saw that Yuuji still feels burdened by the lives he took, and Nobara not that much. She has an interesting view that she only has a limited number of seats in her life, and it’s nice how she says Yuuji brought his own and sat down. As far as their opponents from today go, it was kind of sad seeing, and our MC also felt it. Choso made an appearance as well, and it’s going to be so exciting in the future!

After the fight, Sukuna swallowed the new finger, and we saw Gojo talk about the trio’s achievement. Shortly after, Todou and Mei Mei recommended them all for first grade sorcerers, along with Maki and Panda. Finally, Yuuji got struck by Nobara for dropping one of the items he was carrying, and the trio walked away into the season 2 we’ll be waiting for now.

If you enjoyed episode 24, you can vote Jujutsu Kaisen as the best show of the season on our weekly poll! And if you haven’t started it yet, the story goes:

Although Yuji Itadori looks like your average teenager, his immense physical strength is something to behold! Every sports club wants him to join, but Itadori would rather hang out with the school outcasts in the Occult Research Club. One day, the club manages to get their hands on a sealed cursed object. Little do they know the terror they’ll unleash when they break the seal…

The manga, written and illustrated by Akutami Gege, recently surpassed 36 million circulating copies (also including digital release)! It has been serialized since March 2018, and it will likely grow even more alongside the anime adaptation too.
