The upcoming Dr. Stone: Science Future Cour 3 revealed a teaser trailer on Friday. The final cour is set to release in 2026.
Studio TMS Entertainment animated the first three seasons and Crunchyroll streams all of them. The first season of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation began airing in 2019 with a total of 24 episodes. The second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January 2021 and ran for 11 episodes. The third, Stone: New World, ran for 23 episodes over 2 split cours in 2023. The fourth season was announced as the final one immediately after the finale of season 3.
The anime is based on a manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. It ended after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022. It had a total of 232 chapters, and you can read it on VIZ or MANGA Plus. VIZ describes the story:
