The previously announced Rich Girl Caretaker anime revealed a new key visual along with two additional cast members on Monday. Joining the cast are Saori Onishi as Mirei Tennoji and Rio Tsuchiya as Narika Miyakojima. Brain’s Base is animating the series.
Shusei Morishita is directing the series with Aya Yoshinaga doing the series composition. Takashi Kawashima is the character designer. Natsumi Tabuchi, Hanae Nakamura, and Mayo Kurihara are the music composers. The previously announced mainc ast includes:
- Yuto Uemura as Itsuki Tomonari
- Konomi Kohara as Hinako Konohana
The anime is based on a light novel series written by Yusaku Sakaishi and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe. It was initially launched as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2020. Hobby Japan began publishing it in print under their HJ Bunko imprint in May 2021. There is also a manga adaptation illustrated by Sorahiko Mizushima that began serialization on Hobby Japan’s Comic Fire website in July 2021.
Monogatari Novels is publishing the light novel in English, describing it as follows:
A high school boy, Itsuki Tomonari, gets involved in a kidnapping and ends up taking care of Hinako Konohana, a young lady from one of Japan’s largest conglomerates.
On the surface, Hinako seems to be a brilliant and charming girl, but in reality, she is a lazy girl with no life skills. However, due to family reasons, Hinako has to play the role of the “perfect young lady” at school. Wanting to protect her, Itsuki takes care of her in a very caring manner. Eventually, Hinako begins to fawn on Itsuki with all her might… “Now…if Itsuki isn’t around, I would hate it.”
This is a love story that begins with a cute young lady with a gap that transcends the master-servant relationship.
