Akudama Drive Director's Cut To Feature New Ending Scenes

The official Twitter account for Akudama Drive announced Friday that the sixth and final volume of the Blu-ray & DVD set will be a director’s cut featuring new ending scenes.

Fans of one of the most beautifully animated series will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see what happens. The ending to season one left no hope for another season.

However, will these new ending scenes open up the door for a potential season 2? Will it be significantly different from its original?

Looking at the images, we can’t tell that much. The staff also talked about it, praising it and showing they’re excited. From their comments, it sounds like there will certainly be a lot of improvement, with them having more time to work on it and edit scenes.
