New York Times Best-Selling Manga for July 2021

The monthly list of The New York Times best-selling graphic novels and manga for July 2021 has officially been released. For everyone’s information, The New York Times is an American daily newspaper based in New York City with a global circulation.

Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia ranks second in this month’s rankings. Moreover, the hit manga series My Hero Academia never even got off the list since June 2020! Check out the list of best-selling manga from the said list below:

(#2) My Hero Academia, Vol. 28

The 28th volume of Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia ranked 2nd for this month of July. Also, the series is currently Amazon‘s #1 best-selling in the Teen & Young Adult Manga category.

The all-out war against the Paranormal Liberation Front continues at the hospital and the mountain villa! Mirko desperately battles High-Ends in order to reach Tomura’s stasis tank, knowing exactly how much is at stake if she fails. At the PLF hideout, Dabi is determined to roast Hawks, but Tokoyami isn’t about to let his mentor fall. (#5) Chainsaw Man, Vol. 5

Ranking 5th for this month is another manga series Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Also, the first volume of the series made its entry last April 2021.

(#6) Jujutsu Kaisen, Vol. 10

Entering the 6th spot of the list is Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen series! The hit manga series made its first entry with the volume 1 on February 2021.

In order to regain use of his crippled body, Kokichi Muta, otherwise known as Mechamaru, has been acting as an informant for the cursed spirits. He’s prepared for the betrayal when he’s thrust into a battle to the death against Mahito, but is knowing his enemy enough against a cursed spirit whose powers keep growing exponentially?

(#7) Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 22

Occupying the 7th spot of the list is Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The 22nd volume of the series will be the second-to-the-last entry of the manga series.

After centuries of preparation and training, the Demon Slayer Corps has come face-to-face with their nemesis, Muzan Kibutsuji. It is a desperate battle and several Demon Slayers have already been killed. Tanjiro himself has engaged Muzan, and, despite giving it everything he has, is taken out of the fight! Although severely injured and near death, he sees a vision of his ancestor that may hold the key to finally destroying Muzan! Can Tanjiro recover enough strength to fight Muzan to the finish?

(15) SPY x FAMILY, Vol. 5

Occupying the 15th and final spot of the list is Tatsuya Endo’s manga series Spy x Family. The first volume of the series made its entry on the New York Times list on May 2021.

Anya Forger has been trying her best to befriend Damian Desmond, the son of the powerful Ostanian political leader Donovan Desmond, but her attempts have been constantly rebuffed. Despite the setbacks, Anya is determined to gain access to the Desmonds’ inner circle and even devises a new plan—acing her midterm exams to earn stella stars! Can the academically challenged Anya pull off this feat for the sake of world peace?
