The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf Anime Film Released a New Teaser Trailer

Netflix’s “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf” anime film received a new teaser trailer on July 21, 2021. The new entry in the Witcher franchise will premiere on August 23, 2021, on Netflix. Studio Mir (“The Legend of Korra”, “Dota: Dragon’s Blood”) will take care of the production.

“The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf” anime film will focus on Vesemir’s origin story. In case you don’t know who Vesemir is, he was the oldest and most experienced witcher at Kaer Morhen. He also was the one who gave Ciri witcher training. Moreover, the cast features voice actors known from the successful “Castlevania” animated series and many more. Netflix introduced some of the characters that we will see in the series too:

As you could’ve read in the Tweet above, the main cast is as follows, Theo James (Hector from “Castlevania”) as Vesemir, Lara Pulver (Princess Mirana from “DOTA: Dragon’s Blood”) as Tetra, Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst, Graham McTavish (Dracula from “Castlevania” as Deglan. Studio Mir is also known for films such as “Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge”, “The Death of Superman”, and “Batman: Soul of the Dragon”.

“The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf” teaser trailer looks extremely good and we can’t wait to watch it once it premiers this August!
