New Cast Additions

- Misaki Kuno – Frederica Rosenfort

Episode Count
Back in May, it was announced that the series would have a total of 23 episodes. While this was still when fans thought it would be two-cours instead of two seasons, there’s been no change in information regarding episode count. So it’s safe to assume, for now, that 86-Eighty Six Season 2 will have 12 episodes. Season one covered the entire first volume of the light novel in its 11 episodes. Not to mention, the first preview we received back in August showed us Lena’s new image that was described in the epilogue of volume one.
You can watch that preview here.
If season two were to follow suit, we could see it adapt all of volume two and most likely volume three as well. A-1 Pictures will remain the studio behind the hit spring series.
When and Where to Watch Season 2
86-Eighty Six Season 2 will air on Crunchyroll on October 2, 2021. The series will keep its Saturday schedule that it had back in the spring of this year.
