Japanese multimedia franchise ‘TRIBE NINE’ has announced the release of a theme song ‘GAREKI WAR’. It will be accompanied by a music video, dedicated to one of the franchise’s tribes ‘Ota Tribe’.

‘GAREKI WAR’ is performed by the Japanese band PRAISE, who also composed and arranged the song. One of the band’s members, Yuta Kobayashi, composed the song’s lyrics.
Separate theme songs for the franchise’s ‘Taito Tribe’, ‘Adachi Tribe’, ‘Minato Tribe’, and ‘Chiyoda Tribe’ have been released in the past weeks. All of them are available on TRIBE NINE’s official YouTube channel.
About The ‘TRIBE NINE’ Franchise
The ‘TRIBE NINE’ franchise is composed of an upcoming TV anime, smartphone RPG, as well as a webtoon. The TV anime will be animated by Leiden Films and will be co-produced by Funimation.
The anime, directed by Yu Aoki, with a script written by Michiko Yokote, is set for streaming in January 2022.

The ‘extreme baseball’ anime is set on a ‘Neo Tokyo’ where factions, or ‘tribes’, are trying to be the strongest ‘tribe’ in Neo Tokyo. It follows the story of Haru Shirogane who meets Shun Kamiya, leader of the ‘Minato Tribe’. Yet, all of the existing tribes are threatened with the presence of Tenshin Otori, the self-proclaimed king of Neo Tokyo.
A webtoon regarding TRIBE NINE’s anime franchise is also announced. According to their official site, said project is currently ‘under development’.
In addition, the franchise also announced that they are currently starting their full-scale development for their upcoming RPG game. Said game, developed by IP producing company Akatsuki, is set as a ‘3D Action RPG’. While the game is still undecided as to which operating system it will first launch on, ‘TRIBE NINE’ has said that the game is developed specifically for smartphones. No information regarding the game’s release has been made as of this writing.
‘TRIBE NINE’ is created by Japanese game developer company Too Kyo Games, as well as with video game director Kazutaka Kodaka, and producer Shūhei Yamaguchi.
