Hiro Shimono joined the voice cast of Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime as Shikimori’s brother. Fuji Shikimori had his debut in episode 3 of the anime, which premiered on April 23.
Hiro Shimono is the latest addition to the Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie cast list which already includes:
- Saori Onishi as Shikimori
- Shuichiro Umeda as Izumi
- Rina Hidaka as Hachimitsu
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Inuzuka
- Ayaka Fukuhara as Kamiya
- Misato Matsuoka as Nekozaki
The voice actor is known for his roles of Zenitsu Agatsuma from Demon Slayer, Connie Springer from Attack on Titan, Dabi from My Hero Academia, and more. He turned 42 on April 21.
Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime is based on a manga by Keigo Maki, which is currently being serialized by Kodansha in English. Studio Doga Kobo is animating the series. Recently the production was temporarily halted due to a COVID-19 outbreak among the staff. The production committee issued a statement, saying that they were putting the health of the employees first and that the anime broadcast schedule might be affected by the delays. However, the first three episodes aired on time.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
