On 19 August 2020, the upcoming TV anime Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear announced its broadcast date. The new TV anime was slated to premiere on 7 October 2020. The new series will be produced by EMT Squared under the direction of Hasashii Ishii. A new promotional video and the ending theme song was also revealed.
