The Eminence in Shadow anime has released the preview images and teaser trailers for the upcoming episode 8 which is set to air on November 23, 2022. In the episode, we will see how Cid saves Sherry Barnett from the members of the Cult of Diablos. You can watch the trailers below:

There are also 7 more preview images that were uploaded on the anime’s official website. The Eminence in Shadow premiered on October 5, 2022, and it currently has 7 episodes available. Kazuya Nakanishi is directing the series at studio Nexus. HIDIVE is streaming the show and describes the plot as:
When Cid is isekai’d to another world, he creates an underground organization to live out a fight against a made-up cult. Little does he know the cult is real, and they’re not happy his power fantasy just impeded their plans!
Enterbrain has been serializing Daisuke Aizawa’s The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) light novel series, with Tōzai’s illustrations since November 2018, and it currently has 4 volumes in circulation. A manga adaptation by Anri Sanko is currently being published by Kadokawa Shoten, and as of now, it has 7 volumes as we speak. Yen Press is publishing the original The Eminence in Shadow light novel series in English:
