The physical version of the English release of the Witch on the Holy Night now comes in a limited edition version for Nintendo Switch users. The visual novel has been remastered in high definition and features fully-voiced dialogue. Fans who purchase the limited-edition physical release will also receive a material book, titled “Magician’s Basic Tune,” which features over 100 pages of character references, concept art, designer commentary, and a short story that gives fans a deeper look into the characters. The PlayStation physical release is coming on February 10. The price point is 59.99$.
Witch of the Holy Night is a visual novel written by Kinoko Nasu and developed by Type-Moon. It was first released in Japan on April 12, 2012, and the English release debuted this December. Hirokazu Koyama did the art for the visual novel, while Hideyuki Fukasawa was in charge of the composition. The game’s cast includes:
- Haruka Tomatsu as Aoko Aozaki
- Kana Hanazawa as Alice Kuonji
- Yuusuke Kobayashi as Soujuurou Shizuki
- Chika Anzai as Kojika Kumari
- Toshinari Fukamachi as Tobimaru Tsukiji
- Shohei Kajikawa as Housuke Kinomi
The Witch of the Holy Night visual novel is also getting a movie adaptation by studio ufotable. The studio previously worked on other Type-Moon titles – the Fate series and The Garden of Sinners films.
