Dr. Stone: New World (Season 3) anime has released a new key visual ahead of its April 6 premiere date. It will run for 2 split cours. It was also announced that the ending theme will be “Where Do We Go?” by OKAMOTO’S. The anime released a new trailer two weeks ago, featuring the theme song “Wasuregataki” by Huwie Ishizaki. Written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, the Dr. STONE manga ended after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022. It had a total of 232 chapters, and you can read it on VIZ or MANGA Plus. VIZ describes the story:
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!
Season 1 of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation began airing in the Summer of 2019 anime season (24 episodes), while season 2, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January 2021 and ran for 11 episodes. The series also received a special episode focusing on Ryusui in July 2022.
