The preview images for the season premiere of Dr. Stone: New World (Season 3) are here. The episode titled “New World Map” will release on Thursday, April 6. Crunchyroll will be streaming the new season of Dr. Stone: New World with English subtitles.
Studio TMS Entertainment returns to animate the new season of Dr. Stone! After two years of waiting, our favorite scientific genius is back in action starting off the Age of Exploration arc. Dr. Stone: New World will have two non-consecutive cours, with the next cour still waiting on a release date.
Dr. Stone is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for five years between March 2017 – March 2022 and released a total of 26 volumes. Shuuhei Matsushita is the director for Dr. Stone: New World with Yuichiro Kido reprising his position of handling the series composition and script. Most of the previous Dr. Stone staff are returning this season, including Yuko Iwasawa (character designs), Shunichiro Yoshihara (art director), Jin Aketagawa (sound director), and Takeshi Katsurayama (photography director).
Viz Media is publishing the manga in English and describes the “Age of Exploration” arc, beginning with tenth volume, as:
