The previously announced Kamierabi original anime has revealed its first main trailer, featuring some of the series’ character voices. The announcement was made during the ongoing Anime Expo 2023 event. Watch the new trailer:
The original anime is set to air in October this year. Studio UNEND is animating the series, with planning and production from Slow Curve. The rest of the credits for Kamierabi include:
- Original Concept: Yoko Taro (NieR: Automata)
- Director: Hiroyuki Seshita (Ajin, BLAME)
- Character Design: Atsushi Okubo (author of Fire Force, Soul Eater)
- Series Composition/Screenplay: Jin (Listeners, Mekakucity Actors)

The Kamierabi original anime still has no details about the plot or setting. The only information available on the website is basic information on the staff and their achievements so far. Yoko Taro previously tweeted about the upcoming series, stating that he made the base story.
Meanwhile, another work by Yoko Taro recently got an anime adaptation: NieR:Automata. A-1 Pictures is animating the series, and will air the final four episodes back-to-back on July 23. Studio A-1 Pictures has previously apologized for the disruption, amid a season of repeated anime delays from a myriad of studios.
