Singer Aimer announced her marriage to Masahiro Tobinai, the composer of her song “Zankyo Sanka,” which was used as the opening theme song in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. She performed the song in NHK’s music program Kohaku Uta Gassen held hours earlier.

Aimer performed “Zankyo Sanka” as the opening theme song of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc animated by ufotable. Other than the role of the singer, Aimer wrote the lyrics, under aimerrhythm, while Masanorhi Tobinai wrote the music co-composed by Kenji Tamai. The song was compiled with the anime’s ending theme song “Asa ga Kuru”, which she also performed, as a CD single in January 2022. The song’s music video in full length has been available on her YouTube channel since it was posted on December 13, 2021. It currently has received more than 139 million views on YouTube. Other than “Zankyo Sanka” in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, Aimer recently performed “Deep Down” as the 9th ending theme song for Chainsaw Man anime.
