An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride Reveals Teaser Trailer, 2024 Premiere Date

Upcoming An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride anime adaptation revealed a set of teaser visuals and a teaser trailer, along with a 2024 premiere date and a TV anime format. The main cast, which can be heard in the trailer, includes Kana Ichinose and Yusuke Kobayashi as Nephelia and Zagan respectively. Studio Brain’s Base is animating.

Hiroshi Ishiodori, known for his work on the Duel Masters franchise, will be directing the anime, with Mina Osawa as the character designer. Aya Yoshinaga is in charge of the series composition. Yuma Yamaguchi is composing the music for An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride anime.

The anime will adapt the Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf o Yome ni Shitanda ga, Dou Medereba Ii light novel written by Fuminori Teshima and illustrated by COMTA. An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride has been serialized since 2017 in HJ Bunko. A manga adaptation by Hako Itagi is also ongoing in Hobby Japan’s Comic Fire online magazine.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and describes the plot as:
Zagan is feared by the masses as an evil sorcerer. Both socially awkward and foulmouthed, he spends his days studying sorcery while beating down any trespassers within his domain. One day he’s invited to a dark auction, and what he finds there is an elven slave girl of peerless beauty, Nephy. Having fallen in love at first sight, Zagan uses up his entire fortune to purchase her, but being a poor conversationalist, he has no idea how to properly interact with her. Thus, the awkward cohabitation of a sorcerer who has no idea how to convey his love and his slave who yearns for her master but has no idea how to appeal to him begins.
