Chiwa Saito joined the cast of Arifureta: From Common Place to World’s Strongest season 2 as Meiru Melusine, who first appeared in episode 6 of the series. The episode aired on February 17, 2022.

Meiru Melusine is one of the liberators in the Arifureta series. She is the one who made the Sunken Ruins of Melusine, which Hajime explored in the 5th and 6th episode together with his party.
Chiwa Saito is known for voicing Hitagi Senjougahara from, Monogatari series, Alicia Rue from Sword Art Online, Chitose Karasuyama from D-Frag, Tatenashi Sarashiki from Infinite Stratos, Pest from Mondaiji, Riko Aida from Kuroko’s Basketball, Yona from Akatsuki no Yonna, Jean Gunnhildr from Genshin Impact, and many more. Arifureta season 2 premiered on January 13, 2022, and it currently has 6 episodes. The 7th episode will air on February 24, 2022. Akira Iwanaga (Isuca) is currently directing the show, while studios Mother and Asread (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) are taking care of the animation. Season 1 aired in the Summer 2019 anime season, and it had a total of 13 episodes. Also, 2 OVAs aired in December 2019 and February 2022. You can watch the series on Funimation.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is a Japanese web novel series by Ryo Shirakome. Overlap is publishing its light novel adaptation since 2015 and it currently has 12 volumes available. A manga adaptation by RoGa is also being serialized by the same publisher on Comic Gardo magazine.
