The preview images for episode 2 of Arifureta‘s season 2 have been released. The series will resume on January 20, 2022, and Hajime’s party will now arrive in Ankaji to help the people who drank the contaminated water from the oasis.

Funimation has been streaming Arifureta season 2 since January 2022 and as of now, it has 1 episode. Akira Iwanaga (Isuca) is directing the series, while studio Mother and Asread (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) are in charge of the animation. The first season of Arifureta aired in the Summer 2019 anime season, and it had a total of 13 episodes. You can also watch season 1 on Funimation.
Ryo Shirakome first launched the Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest web novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Overlap started serializing its light novel adaptation with Takayaki’s illustrations in June 2015, and it currently has 15 volumes available. The same publisher is also publishing a manga adaptation by RoGa in Comic Gardo.
J-Novel Club is also publishing Arifureta light novel series in English. Season 2 adapts the 5th volume of the series:
With the addition of Kaori into their party, Hajime and his friends make for Myu’s hometown, the coastal city of Erisen.
