Astro Note, an upcoming original anime by Telecom Animation Film, released a new trailer and details on the additional cast members. The anime will premiere this April.
The additional cast includes Rie Kugimiya as Ren Wakabayashi, Tomokazu Sugita as Tomihiro Wakabayashi, Shin-ichiro Mik as Shokichi Yamashita, Ai Furihata as Teruko Matsubara, Yui Ogura as Aoi Uemachi, Junichi Suwabe as Naosuke, and Jun Fukuyama as Shoin Ginger. Previously announced cast members are Soma Saito as Takumi Miyasaki and Maaya Uchida as Mira Gotokuji.
The trailer also features the opening theme song “Hohoemi no Oto” by Ai Furihata. Shinji Takamatsu is the chief director of the series, with Haruki Kasugamori as director. Kimiko Ueno is writing the script, Eisaku Kubonouchi designing the characters, and Kohei Munemoto composing the music.
The Astro Note original anime was first announced in November 2023. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. The synopsis is described as:
Takumi, a gifted chef, was just let go from his job. He lands a gig at an old boarding house called Astro-sou, but hesitates to accept after learning he must also live there full-time. That is until he meets the beautiful and charming caretaker, Mira, and he’s sold. The two begin to work together and their connection deepens. But Mira has a secret: she isn’t from this world!
