Attack on Titan Gets New Theme Park Ride Based on Battle of Liberio

Attack on Titan has announced a new theme park ride called “Attack on Titan THE RIDE – Battle of Liberio,” which will open on September 17 as part of the franchise’s collaboration with Fuji-Q Highland. They are currently featuring a collaborative attraction called “Attack on Titan THE RIDE: Final Operation to Retake Wall Maria,” which will run until August 31.

The new attraction will continue to utilize the flight simulation, featuring a massive 20-meter diameter hemispherical screen, seats that move in sync with the visuals, and dynamic sound effects for the raid on Liberio.

Visitors will be able to take on a role of a new recruit of the Survey Corps, joining Levi, Mikasa, and Jean as they support Eren in his fight against five powerful Titans. The setting is the Liberio internment zone, where visitors will experience intense battles while soaring freely through the night sky. The visuals will be Japan’s first fully-realistic CG, and there will also be original merchandise featuring the real full-CG visuals for purchase.

Studio MAPPA animated the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s manga from Season 4 onward. It is also getting a compilation movie for the finale in November.
