Japanese band BACK-ON and JESSE, the vocalist of RIZE and The BONEZ bands, released a new single titled “Kill the Beat”. The song, along with a music video came out on July 30th and is available to stream online.
‘Kill the Beat’ is BACK-ON’s first-ever collaboration song, produced with the intention of returning to the roots of rap-rock. JESSE and BACK-ON members KENJI03 and TEEDA sing and rap intertwining lines over a heavy beat that will transport you back to the music scene of the early 2000s. It’s interesting to note that it was JESSE who originally gave BACK-ON their name back when they began. BACK-ON is a Japanese wordplay that means “explosive sound”.
