Banished From Hero’s Party anime revealed preview images and a teaser trailer for episode 3. The second episode aired on October 13, while the third will air on October 20, 2021.

Banished From Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is a Japanese light novel series by Zappon, with Yasumo as the illustrator. Kadokawa Shoten started publishing it in June 2018. The novel is still ongoing and currently has 8 volumes in circulation. The same publisher started serializing a manga adaptation in December 2018 and it currently has 6 volumes available.
Makoto Hoshino (King’s Raid) is directing the anime adaptation, which started on October 6, 2021. Studio Flad (Dame x Prince) and Wolfsbane (Peter Grill) are currently animating it.
