Banished From Hero's Party Episode 9: Ruti Arrives at Zoltan

Ruti finally makes her move to counter the cruel effects of her hero’s blessing in episode 9 of Banished From Hero’s Party anime. First, she makes her way to Zoltan, together with Tisse, unaware of the fact that Gideon lives there. Meanwhile, Rit and Red are just starting to go back to their peaceful life after the incident with a contract demon. Will the arrival of Ruti be a hindrance to their slow life?

Warning: This Section Might Contain Spoilers.

The sweetness between Rit and Red never stops, even if they’re in public places. Zoltan is still recovering from the damage the contract demon inflicted on them. The couple is really busy tending to the needs of the others since they run an apothecary. Still, since it’s winter, they don’t have customers that much, so Rit and Red make a new product that is appropriate for their current environment. The new product is a hit, so they end up being very busy. Snow comes and the two are both exhausted, so they end up going out to spend some quality time together and rest.

Rit and Red

It’s satisfying to see that their relationship is stable and they always support each other. In my opinion, these two are role models for having a wholesome relationship. The MC is also not dense, unlike the protagonists in some romance anime.

Ruti’s Arrival in Zoltan

Ruti and Tisse arrive at Zoltan, unaware of its current situation. Ruti doesn’t want anyone to find out that she is the hero to avoid trouble. Whenever she’s faced with trouble she starts imagining Gideon and wondering what he would do if he were in her place.

Ruti imagining Gideon

I personally think that this is hard for Ruti because she remembers Gideon often. This is also the first time I saw her showing emotions. Looking back at episode 3, Red explained that a person’s blessing affects their personality and behavior. In Ruti’s case, it looks like having the hero’s blessing makes her emotionless and resistant to any kind of pain or difficulties. However, we saw a different Ruti in episode 9 of Banished From Hero’s Party. The reason for her change might have something to do with the events of the previous episode.

Ruti Arrives at Rit and Red’s Apothecary

Ruti and Tisse successfully obtained what they needed in Zoltan. This leads them to go to an apothecary because they need medicine. The two arrived at the shop, and when Ruti realizes where she is she becomes speechless. It’s easy to tell that both her and Red were very surprised.

Ruti seeing Gideon after a very long time

Of course, the two were shocked because they didn’t expect to see each other at that moment. If I were Gideon, I would honestly wonder why Ruti is in Zoltan. Why is she not on her journey to defeat the demon lord? Well, I think none of those things matter as of now because the only thing they should focus on at the moment is their reunion. Now that Ruti is in Zoltan, is she going to be in the way of Rit and Red’s peaceful life? Will she be able to accept the fact that her brother and Rit are in a romantic relationship? If you are also curious, episode 10 will air on December 8, 2021, and you can watch it on Funimation.

Lastly, if you felt happy about Ruti being reunited with Gideon in episode 9 of Banished From Hero’s Party, you can vote for the anime on our weekly poll.
