The upcoming Bartender: Glass of God anime has a new trailer that revealed the April 3 premiere date. Takaya Kawasaki is performing the opening theme song “Stardust Memory” while Mone Kamishiraishi is in charge of the ending song “Spica.” Both are featured in the trailer:
Studio Liber is animating the upcoming Bartender Glass of God anime with Ryoichi Kuraya as the director. Marko Kunisawa is in charge of the series composition, while Yoichi Ueda is the character designer and chief animation director. The cast includes:
- Takuma Terashima as Ryu Sasakura
- Yoshino Nanjo as Miwa Kurushima
- Eriko Matsui as Kyoko Kawakami
- Haruka Shiraishi as Yukari Higuchi
- Ryoko Shiraishi as Yuri Kinjo
- Makoto Furukawa as Kelvin Chen
- Hiroki Tochi as Kitagata
- Naoya Uchida as Ryuchi Kazuhara
Bartender is a Japanese manga series written by Araki Joh and illustrated by Kenji Nagatomo. It was first serialized in Shueisha’s Japanese seinen magazine Super Jump from 2004 to 2011. The chapters were collected by Shueisha and compiled in 21 volumes.
The manga got a TV anime adaptation by Palm Studio in 2006 with 11 episodes. It was also adapted into a live-action drama in 2011. The story follows a genius bartender called Ryu Sasakura, who uses his skills to make all of his customers feel better.
