The Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King mobile game is inspired by the hit manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata. The manga first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in 2015 and has since released a total of 35 volumes. No release date has been announced for Volume 36. The series was transferred to Jump GIGA magazine earlier this year with its next chapter set to be released in December.
The Black Clover manga currently has over 19 million copies in circulation as of November 2023.
VIZ Media licenses the series in English and describes the plot of Black Clover as such:
Asta is a young boy who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. Only one problem—he can’t use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can’t use magic really become the Wizard King? One thing’s for sure—Asta will never give up!
