Black Clover Season 2 Announces October 3 Premiere

Black Clover Season 2 anime has officially announced that it will premiere on October 3, 2026. The anime previously revealed the main trailer and theme song by rock band WANIMA, as well as confirmed that Ayataka Tanemura will return to direct the anime’s second season. Crunchyroll will stream the anime, and it will host an early screening for North America this month.

The main staff for Season 2 includes:

The opening song by WANIMA is titled “Kienai Riyuu” (The Reason That Won’t Disappear).

The main visual was also recently revealed.

The Black Clover manga was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2015 to August 2023, before transferring to Jump GIGA. It entered its final arc in August 2022 and officially ended on May 1 after eleven years of serialization. The manga is available to read on Viz Media’s website, MANGA Plus website, and the Shonen Jump mobile app in English. 

It received a 170-episode anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot, which ran from 2017 to 2021. The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King movie premiered on June 16 and is streaming on Netflix. Crunchyroll streams the TV anime, and they describe the story:
