Firefly Wedding Anime Reveals Key Visual at Advance Screening Event

Firefly Wedding TV anime revealed a new key visual during a screening event ahead of its October 9, 2026 premiere. The second promotional video was revealed in August.

The main voice cast for the anime includes:

• Lynn as Satoko Kirigaya
• Koki Uchiyama as Shinpei Goto
• Kento Ito as Kotaro Ogawa
• Kenjiro Tsuda as Mitsueda

The key visual was revealed during an advance screening event held at United Cinema Toyosu in Japan on September 6, where Episodes 1-3 were shown ahead of broadcast. Cast members Lynn, Koki Uchiyama and Kento Ito appeared on stage in kimono and spoke about the series, its characters and the anime adaptation’s appeal. You can see the new visual below.

Takahiro Kamei is directing the series at studio david production (Fire Force). Yuko Kakihara is handling series composition and scripts, with Yukiko Aikei as character designer. Music is composed by NOGRID. You can watch the latest trailer below.

Oreco Tachibana’s original manga is serialized through Shogakukan’s MangaONE app. The series has surpassed 4.5 million copies in circulation, with 12 collected volumes currently available. It previously also won the 2024 Digital Comic Award. The story follows Satoko, the daughter of a prestigious family who has been told she has little time left to live. Her goal is to marry into another prominent family and make her father proud, but her life changes after she gets kidnapped.

Facing a desperate situation alongside assassin Shinpei, Satoko lies and proposes marriage to him, promising that he can have everything if they become a couple. Unexpectedly, Shinpei takes the proposal seriously and becomes devoted to Satoko as she struggles between her responsibilities and her growing feelings for him.
