BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls Game Previews Battle System, Mechanics & More in Overview Trailer

BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game previewed its battle system, mechanics, modes, and more in the latest overview trailer. The game is developed by Tamsoft Corporation, and it will be available on the PS4, PS5, XBOX and on PC via Steam from March 21, 2025. They showed the first gameplay demo at the Jump Festa ’25 last month.

Players will be able to play in both offline and online modes. The story campaign will allow players to relive Ichigo Kurosaki’s journey from the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc until the Arrancar Arc.

BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls Battle System Overview

The combat system in BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls is described as combining strategy, timing, and mechanics to create dynamic gameplay. The basic actions include:

• Kikon Channel Activation: Triggered by accumulating Fighting Spirit during Awakened states, this mechanic enables high-impact moves to shift the momentum of a battle.
• Strike Back System: Players can recover Reishi and Konpaku when disadvantaged, offering a chance to “turn the tide of battle.”
• Kikon Moves: Mastering swordplay and executing Kikon Moves with precision is critical for victory. These moves demand skill and timing.
• Victory Conditions: To win, players need to deplete their opponent’s Reishi and destroy their Konpaku, creating a dual-layered health system for added strategic depth.

Advanced combat mechanics include:

• Counter Attacks: Evade incoming moves and strike back from behind for tactical advantages.
• Follow-Up Hoho: Extend combos to maintain offensive momentum and amplify damage.
• Reverse Actions:
  • Soul Reverse: Automatically recovers Reishi over time and enhances movement.
  • Chain Reverse: Connect active combos seamlessly for extended attacks.
• Awakening Enhancements: Unlock significant power boosts for characters during Awakened states.
• Spiritual Pressure Moves: Consume the gauge to unleash unique, game-changing attacks.

Besides the main story mode, BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls offers numerous other ways to have fun. These include Side Episodes, Secret Stories, Training and Mission Modes, and Customization at the Urahara Shop.
