BLEACH has released a special 20th anniversary trailer showing Ichigo’s journey from Rukia’s perspective, coinciding with today’s premiere of Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 3. The anime is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and this is the latest project of the celebration.
The third part of the Thousand-Year Blood War is now streaming, coming exactly 20 years after the adaptation first premiered on October 5, 2004. The adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga ran until March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes, while the TYBW adaptation began on October 10, 2022. Besides the recent CALL YOUR NAME visuals, they previously also revealed a special visual featuring the antagonists for the 20th anniversary celebration.
The BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls console game is also in development, and it recently revealed a new trailer and early 2025 release date.
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War follows the culmination of the war between Quincy and Soul Reapers. Yhwach, the legendary Quincy King, makes his return after a 1000 years and Ichigo and friends are not ready for it. However, they will all have to defend Soul Society, and many battles ensue.
