BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 3: The Conflict anime has revealed a new visual, trailer, theme songs and an October 2024 premiere date. PIERROT FILMS will be animating, which is the new brand of Pierrot’s second studio. They announced that the headquarter studio will continue to work closely with the new brand.
SIX LOUNGE performs the new opening theme song, while suisoh is in charge of the new ending. Both songs can be heard in the new trailer.
Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed it in English, and they describe the BLEACH: TYBWA story:
The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
The first teaser trailer for the 3rd part was revealed at Jump Festa, along with the announcement of BLEACH: Arrancar the Beginning musical. The musical is also coming in 2024 and will be the first one for the franchise since 2015. BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls console game was also announced at Anime Expo 2024.
