BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) has revealed the Episode 38 trailer, featuring Marina Inoue and Chiaki Kobayashi as the young versions of Bazz-B and Haschwalth. The episode is titled “FRIEND.” The anime also confirmed a 1-hour special finale for December 28, which means the third cour will have a total of 14 episodes.
Marina Inoue is voicing Hugo, a young Jugram Haschwalth, with Chiaki Kobayashi as Bazz, the young Bazz-B. You can see their character designs and hear them in the preview trailer below.
Yuichiro Umehara voices the adult Jugram Haschwalth, with Yuki Ono as the adult version of Bazz-B.
PIERROT FILMS, the new brand of Pierrot’s second studio, is animating BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War. The anime has Hikaru Murata as the director, with Tomohisa Taguchi and Masaki Hiramatsu in charge of the series composition. Masashi Kudo is the character designer, and Shiro Sagisu is in charge of the music. Chief animation directors include Yukio Hasegawa, Sei Komatsubara, Masashi Kudo, and Kumiko Takayanagi.
Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, while the anime is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 -The Conflict- is the third of four parts of the new anime. It was voted the most anticipated Fall 2024 anime. It premiered on October 5, and the first two episodes both ranked first in our weekly ranking. It also topped the ranking in week 6, week 8, week 9, week 10 and week 11.
BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game is coming on March 21, 2025, with the latest trailer featuring Sosuke Aizen.
