BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc (TYBWA) revealed a preview for the finale of the first cour which airs later today, December 26. The finale will be an hour-long special. Disney+ is streaming the anime in English in select regions and so is Hulu.
The anime was featured at the Jump Festa ’23 this past weekend. Tite Kubo took part and talked about supervising the anime and what he would like to do in the future in regard to the anime-original scenes. A new key visual was revealed during the event.
Studio Pierrot also produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 and had a total of 366 episodes. The anime is known for a large number of filler episodes, and the same studio is working on the new season which is set to have four cours. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. Thousand Year Blood War Arc starts with the 480th chapter and ends with 686th. The plot is described as:
