Kamiina Botan, Yoheru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana (Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk) anime unveiled on Friday that Minako Kotobuki is voicing Kanade Gujo. A character visual and reveal trailer were also released. The anime premieres in April 2026.
Kotobuki also left a comment regarding her character and the series:
I’m Minako Kotobuki, who will be playing Kanade Gujo, and I’m the type who likes to sip alcohol slowly.
Ever since I first read the original work for the audition, I felt that the atmosphere created by Hei-sensei was light and pleasant, something I wanted to keep experiencing.
I hope the anime will also deliver everyone’s delicate emotions.
The anime series is based on a manga written and illustrated by Hey. Studio Soigne (mono) is in charge of the animation, and Takashi Sakuma (16bit Sensation: Another Layer) is the director. The previously announced voice cast members include:
The story centers around Kamiina Botan, a 20-year-old college freshman in Chichibu, Saitama, who experienced her first drink after meeting Ibuki Tonami, the leader of her dorm. Botan now spends her time trying different kinds of alcohol.
