Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk anime has cast Maki Kawase as Chang Chin-lan. The voice actress also left a comment and a visual and trailer for the character were revealed. The anime will premiere in April 2026.

Hello, I’m Maki Kawase, and I’ll be voicing Chang Chin-lan. I hope to perform in a way that complements the delicate words and atmosphere created by Hey-sensei, as well as the light and beautiful world of Jinglan and her companions illustrated by Sowane-san. Chin-lan will be joining the story partway through, but please look forward to her appearance…! Through this series, I’d also love to discover all kinds of new drinks myself!
The anime is adapted from the manga series written and illustrated by Hey. It was launched on Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross web service in March 2019. Studio Soigne (mono) is animating the anime adaptation with Takashi Sakuma (16bit Sensation: Another Layer) as the director. The voice cast consists of:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Botan Kamiina
- Yoshino Aoyama as Ibuki Tonami
- Minako Kotobuki as Kanade Gujo
- Yurina Amami as Akane Yusa
- Miyu Tominta as Yaeka Kitamori
The story centers around Kamiina Botan, a 20-year-old college freshman in Chichibu, Saitama, who experienced her first drink after meeting Ibuki Tonami, the leader of her dorm. Botan now spends her time trying different kinds of alcohol.
