Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki Episode 9 is out. In the last episode, everything between Hinami and Minami was fixed and they came back to being good friends. In the meantime, summer vacation also approached. It means that Tomozaki and Fuuka’s date is also fast approaching. To deal with that, Tomozaki and Hinami go out together. They had a test run of Tomozaki and Fuuka’s date. Hinami pretended to be Fuuka. At the end of the day, Hinami invited Tomozaki for a Barbeque night. She said that Mizusawa, Izumi, Nakamura, and Minami will also come. Hinami also said that it is a plan to set up Izumi and Nakamura for being together. Tomozaki accepted Hinami’s invitation. There, the next set of events for Tomozaki in the game called life begin.
Tomozaki Brought Friends on His House
Minami, Hinami, Tomozaki, and Mizusawa decided to go to Minami’s house to plan the setup of Nakamura and Izumi. Suddenly, a relative of Minami came to her house, so they cannot use Minami’s house for their meeting. While at it, Hinami brought the idea of using Tomozaki’s house for their preparations since his house is nearby. Tomozaki brought them to his house. Then, Tomozaki’s sister was surprised because she did not think that Tomozaki will bring friends home. She told her mother about it and they bought a cake as a celebration. Looking back when Hinami was inviting Tomozaki for the Barbeque night, she told Tomozaki that he must mess with Mizusawa three times on that day as his task and he achieved it. The task brought them closer to each other and Mizusawa started calling Tomozaki with his real name, Fumiya.
Tomozaki and Fuuka Having a Good Time Together
The day of Tomozaki and Fuuka’s date came. Fuuka was a little bit late. She said sorry to Tomozaki but he didn’t mind much. They started walking and while at it, Tomozaki noticed that Fuuka’s clothes are not for summer because of its long sleeves. Then, Fuuka suddenly felt embarrassed about that and she told him her secret. She said that she is dressed like that because her skin is sensitive and it easily burns in the sun. Tomozaki noticed that Fuuka is blushing while saying this. When they reached their destination, Fuuka became very excited and ended up putting her face close to Tomozaki’s. Then, they both became embarrassed. They watched an Andi film in Shibuya. They enjoyed the show and ended up talking to each other casually.
Tomozaki Became Special for Fuuka
The show ended and they ate. While at it, they talked happily and casually until Fuuka told Tomozaki that he is a mysterious guy. She said that it is because Tomozaki is easy to approach, but sometimes, approaching him is hard. Tomozaki looked down. He felt sad about what Fuuka said and started reflecting on his actions. Hours passed by and they finally went home. Fuuka broke their silence inside the train and told Tomozaki that what she said earlier is a good thing. She said that she cannot approach a guy easily and that is the norm for her, but she can approach Tomozaki, so it was special for her. Fuuka told Tomozaki that she wants to hang out with him again in the future. It seems that in Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki Episode 9, Tomozaki became good at handling his relationships.

The synopsis of the story:
Expert gamer Tomozaki Fumiya doesn’t exactly fit in, but he wishes he did. With no written rules for success and gameplay that doesn’t work in his favor, the real world seems impossible for someone like him. But, like any noob, all he really needs are some strategies and a seasoned player like Aoi Hinami to help him. Hopefully with her guidance, Tomozaki will gain the experience he needs.
