The new version was described as a 70% unlocked version, with MAXIMUM THE HORMONE revealing years later that the reason why fans have only received the 1-minute, 29-second TV version is that the second verse references Reze.

Meanwhile, Frost Children recently remixed Kenshi Yonezu’s “KICK BACK” (Season 1 opening), the first Japanese-language song to receive a Gold certification (RIAA, 500,000 physical sales in the United States), to commemorate the new Chainsaw Man compilation film released in Japan. Crunchyroll confirmed it will stream the compilation film and the new Chainsaw Biyori short anime this month. You can listen to a preview of the Reze Arc opening theme song and ending theme song by Yonezu and Hikaru Utada here.
