Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will have a runtime of 100 minutes, or 1 hour and 40 minutes, as confirmed by the official X (formerly Twitter). The reveal was made alongside the launch of a lottery for reservations for the earliest premiere, with doors opening for an IMAX screening at 5 PM JST in Tokyo on September 15. The exact location of the screening will be revealed to the winners of the lottery.

The early premiere comes 4 days before the Japanese wide premiere on September 19. Confirmed attendees are Denji’s voice actor, Kikunosuke Toya, joined by Tomori Kusunoki (Makima), Shogo Sakata (Aki), and Reina Ueda (Reze).
In preparation for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc‘s international premiere on September 24 (E.g., in the Philippines), Crunchyroll announced it will stream a Chainsaw Man special recapping the 12-episode first season and featuring Chainsaw Biyori, a new animated short based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s bonus chapters from the manga. Denji is a young boy who works as a Devil Hunter with the “Chainsaw Devil” Pochita. One day, as he was living his miserable life trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, he got betrayed and killed. As he was losing his consciousness, he made a deal with Pochita, and got resurrected as the “Chainsaw Man”: the owner of the Devil’s heart.
