Crunchyroll Brings Re: Zero 3 Premiere and Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Preview to Anime Expo

Anime Expo 2024 is just around the corner: this year’s event is taking place between July 4-7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and with many amazing announcements, con-goers definitely have a lot to look forward to, especially from Crunchyroll. The streaming platform promises some highly-anticipated premieres as well as interesting panels with some of the biggest names in the anime industry. In addition to exclusive premieres for titles such as Re:Zero Season 3, Crunchyroll also announced new information for one of the most-anticipated adaptations: Witch Hat Atelier.

Here are the highlights:

  • Bocchi the Rock! panel with director Keiichiro Saito and voice actor Yoshino Aoyama (with Sony Pictures Entertainment)
  • The Crunchyroll Stage featuring:
    • TRIGUN STAMPEDE
    • Witch Hat Atelier – New Information
    • Senpai is an Otokonoko – Premiere
    • To Be Hero X – Premiere
    • Re:ZERO Season 3 with Yusuke Kobayashi and key staff – Premiere (90 minutes)

    • Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 3 – Premiere

    • MF GHOST Season 2 – Premiere

  • Black Butler panel with Producer Yoshito Ito, Director Kenjiro Okada, and voice actor Daisuke Ono

Crunchyroll isn’t the only one to look out for at this year’s Anime Expo, as many others are also preparing great lineups. Studio BONES and Kodansha are getting ready to reveal a new anime project, leaving many guessing as to what that could be. Warner Bros. will have a panel dedicated to the DanMachi series, which is returning with its fifth season this fall; WIT Studio and Signal MD are hosting a joint panel to discuss their projects, and VIZ Media is presenting new information on the continuation of BLEACH anime adaptation.
