Crunchyroll Reveals Exciting New Anime Acquisitions for Fall 2025 and Onwards

Crunchyroll hosted its latest panel at AnimagiC 2025 in Mannheim, Germany, announcing a new wave of anime acquisitions for Fall 2025 and 2026. The titles feature a range of genres including isekai, sci-fi, romantic comedy, and dark fantasy. Several shows are scheduled to premiere in October 2025, with more to follow ‘soon’ and in 2026.

Among the highlights is My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s, animated by SUNRISE, and This Monster Wants to Eat Me, a new series from Studio LINGS. The full list includes both newly announced simulcasts and previously revealed series with updated release details.

New Series Confirmed for October 2025 on Crunchyroll:

• My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s – Studio: SUNRISE
• This Monster Wants to Eat Me – Studio: Studio LINGS
• The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King – Studio: Jumondo
• Mechanical Marie – Studios: Zero-G and Liber
• Plus-sized Misadventures in Love! – Studio: Marvy Jack

Each of these titles will be available worldwide (excluding Asia), with select exceptions by region.

• Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family! – Studio: Studio Flad (2025)
• The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife – Studio: project No.9 (2026)
• ROLL OVER AND DIE – Studio: A.C.G.T (2026)

Territory Details:

• Most series are licensed worldwide outside of Asia.
• Mechanical Marie and ROLL OVER AND DIE are confirmed to include India and the Indian subcontinent in their availability.
• Plus-sized Misadventures in Love! will be available in most regions, with exclusions in East Asia.

German Dub News
Crunchyroll also announced expanded German-language support for several titles:

• Lord of Mysteries
• Detective Conan (episodes 484–533)
• Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2

All three series will receive new German dubs produced by Crunchyroll.
