CyberAgent and CygamesPictures have announced APOCALYPSE HOTEL, a new original anime set for a 2025 release date. It will have character designs by Izumi Takemoto, Shigeru Murakoshi on the series composition, and a theme song by Aiko. A teaser visual and video were also revealed.
Izumi Takemoto is a veteran mangaka known for his works like the Neko Me~Waku series, Teke Teke My Heart, and Garden Shimai. Shigeru Morikoshi is a screenwriter who has worked on titles like ZOMBIE LAND SAGA and Ninja Kamui. CygamesPictures recently animated the Princess Connect! Re:Dive anime adaptation, as well as the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby – Road to the Top movie.
The theme song by Aiko is titled “skirt.”

In a desolate town, where nature has slowly reclaimed its breath, a single hotel with a long history remained standing in this world weaved by nature.
“Currently, the number of guests staying: 0, new reservations for today: 0, homepage views yesterday: 0. Goal not achieved.”
This is the story that unfolds in a hotel where humanity no longer exists.
